Volunteer

You do not need to be an artist to volunteer with us!

Volunteering with the Pembina Hills Arts Council allows you to connect with your community through the transformative powers of arts activity!

Our volunteer roles provide exciting and rewarding opportunities to gain hands-on experience in community arts, networking with other artists and like-minded individuals, while lending your skills to your community at the same time.

Event Support Volunteer:

The PHAC hosts a number of events throughout the year which require many hours of volunteer support.  You can get involved in the following ways:

  • Event-day support (set up and clean up)

  • Event committee organizer

  • Serving liquor (liquor service certification required)

  • Various other duties optional upon event date

Exhibition Volunteer:

If you’re interested in learning and assisting in setting up an exhibition, let us know! Our exhibitions change monthly and we can always use an extra set of hands!

Gift Store Volunteer:

From time to time the PHAC requires someone to volunteer in our gift shop. This may be for special community events, such as the Corn and Apple Festival, or while staff is away for various reasons.

Spending a few hours in the gift store can be a fun way to engage with other art lovers in the community. Basic computer skills required.
