Busking application

The Pembina Hills Arts Council invites you to participate in busking opportunities at the Morden Corn & Apple Festival! Please note, all money earned during your busking performance is 100% yours to keep.

In applying to participate in the 2022 Busking opportunities, I/we agree:

  • To pre-register at the Arts Centre and wear a provided buskers tag during all scheduled performances.

  • To add to the positive spirit of any event by providing a clean, quality family show to the best of our ability.  No bad language, crude humor, lyrics, etc. will be tolerated.

  • To perform at the designated busking sites only (clearly marked with signage);

  • To a minimum performance length of 20 minutes/slot for each ½ hour busking site I am registered to attend; (Time slots are ½ each.)

  • No amplification systems will be used for performances.

  • No merchandise sales during scheduled performances will be tolerated.

*Registered buskers only may participate.

Please return the completed application form and a $10.00 registration fee to the Pembina Hills Arts Council, located at 352 Stephen Street in Morden, Manitoba, or email info@pembinahillsarts.com.

*Note: PHAC retains ultimate organizing rights; you are not guaranteed the dates you have selected.  A representative of PHAC will be in contact with you shortly to confirm times and locations!

 

Waiver of Liability

By signing below, I acknowledge that the Pembina Hills Arts Council Inc. and associated Board members and staff will not be responsible for any injuries incurred to myself or any minor under my care during participation in any workshop, activity or event hosted by the Arts Centre.  I acknowledge that no refunds will be offered for missed performances.

Photo Release

By signing below, I acknowledge that photographs may be taken of myself or minors under my care during participation in workshops, classes and events hosted by the Arts Centre and that these photographs may be used for promotional purposes by the Pembina Hills Arts Council, including in printed material, newspaper articles, website features, Facebook and etcetera, with no expectation of compensation for use.
